Founded in 1993, is an independent, non-denominational, Christian school, located at the House of the Lord church in the heart of west Akron, Ohio. The school is accredited by the State of Ohio as an elementary school and offers Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Emmanuel Christian Academy provides a strong academic program with a systematic approach, research-based curriculum, enrichment opportunities, and solid emphasis on core subjects that are essential to academic adjustment through a committed teaching staff. ECA's Board of Trustees consists of a dedicated group of men and women who direct and support the vision and the ministry of our school. Our Mission Statement: To provide instruction in God's Word and conventional instruction that meets or exceeds State standards for all who desire a biblical foundation; and to serve students who are defined as "at-risk" and those who are underserved in traditional systems of education.
